Singer/Songwriter

I join the roster of artists who play local musical landmarks such as the coffee houses, the Flick in Coral Gables, Bubba’s in Coconut Grove and the Elbow Room in Ft. Lauderdale, FL as a singer songwriter. I hone my guitar, songwriting and performing skills at the feet of artists such as Jerry Jeff Walker, Jimmy Buffet, Michael Murphy, Freddy Neil, Bobby Ingram, Gamble Rogers, Vince Martin, Elizabeth Corrigan, Estrella Berocini, Steve Martin, Steve Goodman, Buffy St. Marie. This is not bragging: it’s verbal bowing at the feet of the masters of their craft.

The Early Music Consort

I become the vocalist and secondary instrumentalist (soprano and alto recorders) for The Early Music Consort, Arnold Grayson director. From Machaut and Orlando di Lasso to John Dowland and Monteverdi, we bring early music with authentic instruments to South Florida.

Jazz Vocal Studies

at the University of Miami School of Jazz, Whit Sidener director. Imagine having classmates such as Jaco Pastorius, Bruce Hornsby, Will Lee and a host of other young musicians who would become jazz and studio music greats equally as talented....

single for Casablanca Records and FilmWorks, written by Barry Gibb and produced by Barry Gibb, Albhy Galuten and Karl Richardson. Shortly after the initial release a 12” dance mix is issued.

Waldorf Education

My enthusiasm for Waldorf Education leads me to work within the Waldorf educational movement in Arizona. I become music faculty for the state-wide Waldorf Teacher Training, a music curriculum consultant, facilitate workshops, coach teachers and parents, write children’s music, and teach music in Tucson and Phoenix Waldorf Schools. What a joy it is to witness children running across the campus singing.
